In this fun and creative class, suitable for both beginners and experienced artists, you’ll learn a variety of hands-on sculptural techniques and explore sculpture basics with the use of mixed media and found objects. You’ll leave with a 3-d sculpture suitable for exhibiting which promises to evoke self-awareness and many conversations.

Although all materials are furnished, students are encouraged to bring personal items such as small trinkets, old jewelry, photos, pieces of fabric, nails, and rusted items.

Remember, anything small that seems meaningful and personal to you can be turned into art….often old letters, buttons, bottle caps, or just odd shaped things you like.

You’ll have the opportunity to select items from a large table filled with found objects – some you may recognize and others will surprise you….

I promise this class is fun and extremely memorable!!!!
